Pronounced NO-sis, the shop name is the Greek word for knowledge. It is the name chosen for the shop in 2005 when it first opened in the heart of legendary Woodstock-- and it is the name that was kept when reopening nearly two decades later, on the other side of the Hudson River in bucolic Red Hook, Dutchess County, New York.
Enjoy an eclectic shopping experience in a mesmerizing little space packed with all-faiths spiritual goods, mystical, magical trinkets and whatnot: talismans and jewelry, essential oil candles, herbs and oils, incense, sage, ritual powders, crystals, charms, new and used books, divination decks and tools, statues, tea cups, second hand and new items, consignment, random, odd, and one of a kind items... you just never know!
